Re-development of the Echuca Campus of Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT). The project is a cost effective solution to long term accommodation needs and incorporates numerous Environmentally Sustainable Design solutions, such as recycled materials, mixed mode ventilation, thermal mass and grey water treatment. Clad in reclaimed local timbers, the building completes the town centre’s southern edge. The design anchors the historic limits of the existing town fabric providing a solution with the extensive use of historic materials. The building houses hospitality, viticulture and a variety of general purpose classrooms.
